Bacco – the Roman god of wine

Bacco offers delicacies from different regions of Italy in the heart of Helsinki. Our food is made out of fresh quality ingredients of the season. We update our menu four times a year following the seasons. Bacco’s professional pizza makers and chefs prepare everything by hand.

Enjoy a Bacco’s lunch on weekdays from 11-14. Theprice includes a rich and varied salad buffet, focaccia bread, tapenade and coffee/tea.  At lunchtime, only a lunch menu is available.

We offer our delicious á la carte menu selection from Monday to Sunday, from which you can find starters, salads, handmade pastas, delicious Roman pizzas and desserts.

The Italian word Enoteca means a place to enjoy wine. From our restaurant’s extensive wine selection you will definitely find your favourite wine. We offer reasonably priced quality wines and wonderful gems for your special occasions.

Stop by for lunch, glass of wine and a “spuntino” or enjoy a lovely dinner in good company.

Heart in Italy, home in Helsinki

The Italian restaurant Bacco serves handmade pasta, Roman pizza and classic Italian treats with a modern touch. Bacco is a lunch restaurant, pizzeria and enoteca. We welcome all, who love good food, to the relaxed atmosphere of Bacco.

Bacco is the latest addition to the Italian restaurant family of Paola Chiodo, who is the restaurant keeper. Paola was born in Rome, raised in Milano and educated in her mother’s hometown, Helsinki. She chose the best flavors from two cultures to her family restaurant. A thought about real, atmospheric Italian restaurant was born in the dinner table. In 2009 Paola fulfilled her dream and opened Ristorante Vaelsa. The restaurant is loved and taken care of with the same dedication as Paola’s own family.

When Paola got the chance to expand her restaurant business to Bacco, she seized the opportunity to continue Bacco’s well started restaurant operation at once.

 

Meal in our Italian restaurant is a stylish way to remember a family, friend or collaborator. The gift card will be written to the desired amount.
